As some of you may know, I am always looking for ways to follow the three R's of Reduce, Reuse & Recycle, and tend to forcibly drag everyone else along.

Given this, I thought it would be great if I encourage others to reduce energy use too. To inspire you all I have decided to cycle from my house in Sheffield to work (38 miles).

To make sure I'm no the only one working, if you all pledge to save 5,000kg of CO2 then I'll cycle home as well! So that is a round trip of 76 miles (about 7 hours) with a full working day in the middle.

I am asking for sponsorship but I'm not asking you to give me your change; I'm asking you to create change.

The DoNation website is trying to create a more sustainable world and the environment needs our action more than it needs our cash.
