Overview of Ride the Change

Dates: 20th - 23rd April 2024

Route:

  • Day 1, part 1: London to Chelmsford (59km/37m)
  • Day 1, part 2: Chelmsford to Harwich (78km/48m)
  • Day 2: Hoek to Vlissingen (110m/68m)
  • Day 3: Vlissingen to Ghent (67km/40m)
  • Day 4: Ghent to Brussels (61km/38m)

Riders can join for one day or all four.

Goals of Ride the Change

The theme for Ride the Change 2024 is " The Future of Energy & Transport". The ride will combine pioneering projects, people, and conversations on this critical theme.

Alongside simply having a fun adventure, we have three goals for the ride:

1. Community building

  • Build a community of climate champions, through the shared challenge of the ride and mind-opening conversations on route.

2. Positive action

  • Experience the positive impact we can all have by showing leadership on climate action. All riders are asked to raise support through climate action pledges on their own Do Nation page.

3. Pave the way

  • By sharing the story of the ride and the communities we pass through, we aim to inspire individuals to take action and to influence decision makers to be bolder in their climate commitments.
