*we think :)

"Do you think it's possible...."
It started as a theoretical question, on one of our morning stomps up the Vertical Kilometre route, which quickly snowballed into the beginnings of a plan. We tried our best to make the idea go away by trying 4 reps, then 6 and, we are.

Our goal is to complete 8,848m of vertical height gain (An 'Everest') on the VK route in Chamonix, within 24 hours. For the descents, we'll be using the lift when its running and getting a bit creative when its not :) As the route is pretty exposed to direct sun and we're Scottish and Canadian, to avoid spontaneous combustion we'll be keeping an eye on the forecast to set our exact date (clouds, please!) - but the aim is before the end of July.

As well as ice cream, chips, coke and questionable music, we will need every ounce of motivation we can get to keep heading out for those reps. And that's where YOU come in. We're not asking for money. The environment needs our action more than it needs our cash.

Make a pledge to help make our world a better place. The issue of excess plastics and the impact this has on the environment and the health of both animals and humans is an issue we both care about a lot. We encourage our family and friends to join us in pledging to reduce excessive packaging. All you have to do is click 'Fantastic unplastic' on the list of actions to make a commitment. You'll also get handy tips from Do Nation on how you can do this. But at the end of the day, the most important is to pick from any of the Do Actions below and find one (or several!) that resonates with YOU.

Some are really easy; others take a bit more effort, but every one helps our environment, health, or well-being. And remember - you only have to try it for two months.

So please, put your wallet away and get doing!
