Racing a train...

I've asked for your support many times over the last six years, and I feel awkward asking again. But it kind of comes with the territory in a job like mine.

It's not just a job though. With the likes of Mr D.T. rocking the climate boat, it's more important than ever that we all show our support for climate action. And there's no better way to do that than through your own actions.

On 19th August, I'll be running 14 miles - more than I've ever run - through the Welsh hills, racing a steam train. Why not?! I'm doing it with a team from GoodGym, a fab running club who are all about using running for good. "Fit for Purpose" is their motto. We've been training by running to schools, community centres, and homeless shelters to do a flash-mob-like burst of volunteering before running home again. It's ace.

I'd like to use this run for good too.

So yes, I'm asking for you to make a pledge to support me. I DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY!

Please pick a pledge from one of the top Do Actions below, or browse more by clicking the ‘pledge’ button above. No need to limit it to one - do as many as you dare! For those who have pledged before, there are lots more Do Actions to chose from now. :)

And remember - you only have to try it for two months.

Thank you - it's much appreciated.
